She's got talent!!

A video from my daughters concert at college in which she had a few solos.  She actually has talent!  We are very proud of her.

A Bit of Progress....

 

It begins.......

So we finally started and making some progress....here are some before photos

T Minus 4 Days and Counting....

Excavation begins Saturday morning 7:30 AM!!!! Finally.....going to lose total access to the front of our house - have to enter around the side and in the back sliding glass door - ugh.....my son and husband told me I probably need to drink heavily or find some anti-anxiety drugs to calm my OCD because its gonna be a long 4 months.....I guess that's good an excuse as any....

Finally.....might actually get started in a few weeks.

Let the games begin....finally.  Making progress on the house renovation - 6 months since we started we finally have a zoning board hearing on April 6 - wish us luck.....then hopefully we will be breaking ground if all goes well within a week or two.

Still trying to clean out years of "stuff".  Haven't even gotten into the attic yet.  Been so busy with my full schedule at school, working full time, and organizing and cleaning out the house, I haven't even done barely any scrapping or crafting - boo hoo!

Well, I just wanted to post an update.  Hopefully next one will be actual groundbreaking!

Back to Reality....

Its been a few weeks - and I apologize for those who follow.  Our big family cruise, years in the planning, has finally arrived and is over - all 12 of us.  We had a great time and my parents were in their glory having everyone together for a whole week.  I don't know when and if this will ever happen again but it was definitely worth it. 

Came home to find out that we won't be able to go before the zoning board until April 6th for our house renovation - so we are again put off another month before we can start - it seems to always be something.

Miss my scrapping - but got a great kit on the cruise ship so I can scrap all my pictures.  School is stressful as well so the next few months may find me quite cranky.
