Under the Boardwalk 3 Day Crop - Awesome

3 day drop was AWESOME. Met great people, had a great time - Croppers Delight (Meryle and Susie) did an outstanding job - they were so helpful and accommodating. Food was great too.

Can't wait to do it again.

Big 3 Day Scrap Weekend Upcoming...

So......Me, Danielle and Regina will be attending a 3 day scrapbooking retreat crop with Croppers Delight NYC - We are following our fearless leader, Denise, who attended last year and said it was great - also a good excuse for girls to just get away together and have some fun.

I'm sure I will have pictures of "completed" scrapbook layouts to post when we get back - wish us luck!

Memory Works....

Took the plunge and signed on as a consultant for Memory Works - more for the discount to support my habit than to make any money....

I am awaiting the delivery of my "kit" and catalogs - can't wait to see what is in the summer edition.

Flat Ribbon Trick for Card Making

Scrapbook Expo, NJ - 5-22-10

Had a great day and had great company at the Scrapbook Expo in NJ with Denise. My first "expo" - bought some stuff, not as much as I intended to but I controlled myself - lol. Took two classes - Card Tricks and Who Said Easy Needs to Be. Card Tricks was ok - Who Said Easy Needs To Be was by Story Tellers and it was interesting to see and work their scrapping projects.

I bought a ton of "bling" - $1 a pack at a great booth - tons of colors and who can go wrong for $1 a pack. Finally took the plunge and purchased the Glue Glider Pro with some refills (PermTac) - I also purchased one High Tac refill to see how that works. Stopped at the Croppers Delight NYC Booth and met Susie and Meryle - great people - can't wait to go to their 3 day crop in July - they also gave Denise and I a great bag to carry our stuff in. Purchased two more Nestabilities and one Shapeabilities Fancy Tags die. Got some other stuff, but no paper.

Communion/Confirmation Card - Girl

Well, here's my try at a communion and/or confirmation card for a girl - did a little scraplifting from SCS. A special friend's daughter is receiving communion so it motivated me to make a card - of course I made two - because all of you who know me know that I CANNOT give a card away if I don't have a second backup.
